Dave Edwards1) left the Labour party (and thus the previous Labour Council), because he just couldn't get along.
It seems fitting that after being the leader of the outgoing independent group, and subsequently not bothering to run in May, he has now decided to run in the Dene by-election after all. We think this is probably a tactical move to annoy Simon Boone.
Dave is very enthusiastic about the town council and has a long track record of bringing issues to the town council that are not within its remit to do anything about.
Dodgy Dave's Election pledges
Dave's election pledges focus largely on issues that neither he nor WTC can do anything about, namely:
- Winsford Town Council to deliver low cost coach trips through the year for Dene and Winsford residents.
- To deliver Winsford road signs at all major entrances to the town.
