Cllr Ernie Welch's Baseless Accusation
This statement from King Welch was posted on the Rodent Army's Facebook page prior to the election, but nevertheless is a good example of tactics WSotE have adopted from rodent-in-chief Cllr Simon Boone.
It is both irresponsible and inflammatory to merely state without any qualification or evidence, that councillors are “under investigation”. Quite apart from the fact that the term is meaningless, and could mean anything from Facebook slacktivism to a full legal challenge, by stating that “other” councillors have (not even might have) taken illegal actions, WSotE have nothing open to interpretation here - this was (is) an accusation, a threat, and an attempt to damage the reputations of councillors prior to the election.
It is cowardly and wrong of WSotE to have both misled the public, and made such vague threats toward their fellow councillors.
Now that over half a year has passed, with no sign of any of these “other” councillors having been found guilty of anything at all, perhaps it is time that WSotE should apologise to their colleagues?
